Well last night I made a post that took me about 20 minutes and it talked about lack of participation here at Cebu Nightlife forum.
Unfortuantly my computer crashed and I lost the post before I click submit.



So listen up members as I will keep this one short and to the point!

I and a few of our contributing members have been working on Cebunl.com over the last few weeks so that it would be easier to post pictures, videos as well we added other new features to the upgraded forum. ( by the way thank you all who made a donation to pay the programmer)

But we also noticed that we have members logging in from all the way back in 2005 as well as members up to the present year signing up daily. THATS GREAT!

BUT!
Here is the problem most of our members come browse and NEVER MAKE A POST
I understand that we have just upgraded the forum and some members may be hesitant or unfamiliar with new style so they might not post. No Problem I am sure you will grasp all the new features soon.

BUT!
So many many memebrs visit on a regular basis but never have made one post or you posted many months ago or even years ago but Now for whatever reason DONT POST AT ALL!

I see who visits the forum when I check the admin area and it amazes me at how many times I see memebrs visit and browse BUT DONT MAKE A POST!

I am happy you find the information you need that is what this forum is here for
But for us to be of a use to all members we need to ALL take a minute and contribute back to the forum so others can also learn and find the same UPDATED information.
HOW DOES IT GET UPDATED?

If you like this forum and you want to see it here in the future May I suggest you take a second and make a post or respond to someones post!
It really is up to us to keep those Topic's UPDATED!

Its only fair that if you find good Topics & Posts here that interest you enough to check back frequently!
Then off you go to the Philippines dont you think you should come back and update OUR members on your findings , reports, and wild encounters experiances.

Ok enough said! My father passed away today and I am here trying to get you to take 2 seconds and make a damn post!

Come on members you dont have nothing to contribute in the ways of a post or response to someone else's post or question.

Heck even a joke will do under the joke section..

Why? I say joke!
Well it is kinda of a joke when I see members logging in all day long reading what they find interesting or related to their searches but NEVER A POST!

This kills me to see members from all the way back to 2005 who log in regularly but have
NEVER MADE EVEN ONE POST!

We have about 1575 members total and that is because I recently cleaned up the forum of non posters who had not returned in over 12 months or we would have over 3800 members.

Of these 1575 members 300 are the base posters who take an active interest in the forum.
another 100 or so post once in a blue moon. All the rest of 1000 members who date back to 2005 DONT POST! of these 1000 members I estimate 400 - 500 return and read and browse the forum as members who prefer not to be recognized for whatever reasons even though they have usernames that are alias.

So my point as I have to go to work now is that
WE NEED TO START MAKING AN EFFORT TO TAKE TIME TO MAKE A POST

The posts are comming from the same active members who are supporters.

just think if half of our members made 1 post a week we would have over 700 posts weekly.

As it is today!
We have if lucky 8-10 posts daily

Ok thank you for your time and those who do make posts for all of us to gain from.

I will try to post more.
I actually post a lot on another board under another name so maybe I can send a few across to this board. I agree with you that a board depends on new posts each day to keep it fresh.
I will be in Cebu next week so that will be some fodder for some new posts.
I always head to Lone Star as it has always been my favorite but before I get there I am going to check out the "new" Silver Dollar first and also take a look at Pussycats too.
I hope to post some war stories for those off shore

I'm a new member and still finding my way around this forum site. It holds a lot of interesting (and sometimes contradictory) information. But hey, it's freedom of speech .....

I will be in Cebu at the end of April, and would like a chance to meet up (maybe at Silver Dollar?).

Hi Warlord and all you other members. I am new to this forum. Am a member of the PA forum and to the PI section of the PA forum. Also a member of Thaivisa forum. Was thinking about retiring to Payatta, Thailand, but now am having second thoughts about it. Corruption, unstable govt, increasing costs, strong Baht, the language, polluted beaches, visa hassles. Soooo ....have now started looking at the PI to retire on a retirement visa. Am single and would have monthly ssn income, until the good USA crumbles. For you that live there, what made your decision to live where you do. ie Cebu, Subic, AC or any other area. I am active and like to play golf, hike, surf, travel, girls :) I have heard from a few members of other forums that Cebu is pretty nice, your thoughts would be appreciated. Have noticed that condo rentals online in Cebu seem around 30% higher than one in or near Payatta. TIA

Cebu has so much more going for it, compared to AC, Subic, Pattaya, etc.

You cant spend 24 hours a day "partying" so you do need shops, other <non-nightlife> leisure facilities, possibly a decent hospital, and easy access to travel around.

Cebu has it all.
Unfortunately that makes it popular, and hence property prices are above average.

I am new to the forum but must say I find it informative, entertaining, and useful. I agree that the only way to make anything useful is to COMMUNICATE. Thats what life is about. Some guys and perhaps gals spent a great deal of time and money to set this up for OUR benefit.

Also to get this off my chest - shall we say - I find at time that there is definate prejudice with some of the subjects - particullarly katoys - and while I do not participate in this activity I find the posts interested and NONE of us has the right to criticize this lifestyle. Remember when you point a finger at someone you have 3 pointing back at you. Enough said.

Hello everyone... just got back from Cebu. I tried to log on your site from several places but could not get on... it was probably me, since I had little sleep and lots of warm Sam Miguel Lights...lol... and a few cold ones too...
Anyway, we had a great trip... got home monday and still suffering from Jet lag. Plus I ran my body down a little with late nights.
Sorry I could not reach anyone while I had feet on the ground.. but I will post some reviews later once I get back to normal...

Just found this website and it has a lot of useful information... I wish I would have found it before I went to Cebu in Apr 2010. I was stupid and didnt do much research.. I thought I would go all out.. I got a room on the island at the Hilton and spent way to much money for the room since the first night in country I got a serious case of the S#$ts. I went and ate at a sushi bar near the hotel. Anyway if i would have known all the clubs were in Cebu City I would have been happier.

It would have also been nice to know they didnt have toilet paper or toilet seats in public .. ahhahah

I pretty much s#$t about 1000 times on my 6 day stay and was too embarrassed to ask for some plug up medicine hahahha. Anyway I will always make sure I will be well supplied next time...

What hotels should I stay at on my next trip. I am planning on going back to PI (cebu) in October...

I only got to visit one club the last night I was there. Nice place... h

You might want to stay in the Mango area in Cebu City... Diplomat Hotel is about 30 usd per day, Holiday Plaza is about 60 USD per day. All in easy distance to all the clubs and bars and resturants.
I stay at the Diplomat.. u can read reviews on the hotels and bars before U decide.
Also, be sure to ask for a discount since Oct is in Low Season.
